Pupils from Infants, 1st, 2nd and 3rd visited Roscrea mart on Thursday 3rd May. In our modern world so many young people never get the opportunity to meet farm animals. Because of this, from time to time Bóthar organises an open day for school children who have sponsored animals for poor families in the Developing World. At the open day Bóthar will have a display of the livestock that it works with including, cows, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens, along with educational features about its work, games and a general day of fun.
