At St. Cronan’s NS, the use of technology is promoted throughout the school. Each classroom is equipped with Interactive Whiteboards for whole-class use.
In the Junior Room, each 2nd class pupil has access to an iPad. These are used to engage with interactive learning games and assist with independent learning.
In the Senior Room, each pupil has a laptop for use during school. Children develop their skills with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, progressing through the stages of drafting, editing and publishing their work. Pupils engage in self-directed learning, researching and presenting projects independently and in groups.
We aim to create pupils who are equipped with the skills necessary for the next stages in their education and for a society where technology is an inescapable part of daily life.
